The hurried frenzy of the day-to-day is so packed from beginning to end that we don’t have the time (or make the time) for stillness, self-reflection, or even just appreciating the present moment.

BUSY IS THE NEW BLACK

Busy-ness is En-Vogue + has pervaded our culture so completely that we not only expect ourselves to live up to this model, but we actually hold it in high regard.

Before I lose you here, let me be clear – I’m not suggesting that being driven, accomplished, or successful are bad things, in fact, I want that for everyone. It’s important to have the drive to accomplish our goals so we can live out our dreams.

But…

When our work comes at the cost of our health + wellbeing, THAT’S when things go wrong.
When we suffer from:
  • Anxiety or Depression
  • Panic Attacks
  • Ulcers
  • Thyroid Disease
  • Autoimmune Disease
  • Stress Overload Syndrome
then something in our lives is out of balance + we’re the only ones who can restore it. WE have to do the work – no one else can do it for us.

But, we can ask for help. That’s where I come in…
