Hi friends,

Well, this feels weird. I haven’t been able to write a blog post for a while… There’s just so much happening out there in the world right now! (And in my own life, too.)

I think I just needed some time to process it all.

You, too?

GOOD. I’m glad we took a break. We really needed it – didn’t we?


But, I think it’s time to talk about some things.
Things I think are kind of important for everyone right now.
Including myself.

↠  It’s totally real to say that tons of people are feeling majorly down + out about the way that 2016 unfolded.

(for WAY more reasons than I can even begin to mention here)

We took a kick to the gut – humans had a totally harsh year this year, especially during the last bit. But hey, Mercury was in retrograde, or something else like that.


I don’t know about you, but I’ve felt my share of the common collective’s energy.

There’s a LOT of low vibration frequencies floating around out there, like fear, anger, sadness, and confusion.

My own life has reflected these low vibe emotions, too.

They’ve  manifested through emotional triggers gone bad, arguments with loved ones, self-deprecation, and even at the physical level through chronic disease (more on this to come).

I’m gonna go out on a limb here and say that plenty of you have been feeling the same way in your own lives right now, too. You know ↠ tired, overwhelmed, agitated, frustrated, angry or depressed, unheard, afraid, helpless… that kind of stuff.

#AmIRight

Well, there’s a reason for that. Believe it or not:

There’s a serious cosmic shift happening out there!

Just like a dirty rug, the Universe is shaking out the mess- and it’s flying EVERYWHERE.


PROGRESS, my loves, comes at a cost. One that many are not willing to pay or even consider without an influential push.

Forward-movement requires energy. Good, clean, solid energy.

Welcome to the unofficial spring cleaning of our lifetimes – of our society – of our souls.


It’s time to take the garbage out.

It’s time to recognize and release old negative thinking, habits, and patterns.

All of that “stuff” we’re feeling right now, are old-ass wounds that are getting picked at again. All of those unwanted, unhappy feelings related to past experiences are getting shook-up and brought out.

It’s time to face them. To look them up and down, inside and out, with a loving lens. To see just what they’re all about + why they have yet to be healed.

So, how DO we cleanse + release, exactly?


1. Pay close attention.

Look at what you’re feeling. Look DEEPLY.

We are each an ocean. The deeper we go, the darker it becomes, the less we can see.

2. Pay close attention.

Listen to the voice within. Let it guide you.

When we are quiet, we can hear. There is an amazing sense within that can lead us to the answers.

3. Pay close attention.

Be kind + open to understanding your true Self. Give her what she asks for or needs.

We can be the ones to give ourselves love and understanding. Imagine your wounded Self as a child – comfort them the way you would most want to be comforted if you were that child. Tenderly and thoughtfully.

4. Pay close attention.

Let go of what you can. Lovingly.

Healing is a gift we can give ourselves. When we release old burdens, heavy weights, and forgive ourselves and others, we begin to heal.


I hope you take the time to clear out the clutter and look forward to a fresh new year.
